Music Minister Eric McElhaney

Bro. Travis Gilbert was called as the Associate Pastor in 2009. Born and raised in the Hoosier state, he was saved by God’s grace as a child and raised in the Dearborn Baptist Church of Aurora, IN. Bro. Gilbert served in the US Army from 1991 to 1995, and has earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Ivy Tech Community College. He was licensed and ordained to the Gospel ministry by the Dearborn Baptist Church on September 1, 1999 and October 3, 2006 respectively. Prior to joining the RBC pastoral staff Bro. Gilbert pastored the Antioch Baptist Church of Greencastle, IN. He and his wife Dianna have three boys: Luke, Noah, and Ethan.

Bro. Eric McElhaney is our minister of music. He served part time from November 2000 until December 2001 while attending Dallas Baptist University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Music degree and a Masters of Arts in Worship Leadership. He became full time in January of 2002. Rodgers Baptist Church licensed him to the ministry in June 2004. Bro. Eric and his wife Pamela have one daughter, Ali, and two sons, Bryce and Carson. Bro. McElhaney is committed to serve the Lord through the wonderful gift of music.
