Psalm 11:7, “For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; His countenance doth behold the upright.”

We need wisdom and understanding about this. The best place to begin is at the source. The source is the triune God of the Bible. God’s character is perfectly holy, without sin, and all that He says and does is right and just. As Daniel said, “the Lord our God is righteous in all His works”(Daniel 9:14b).Apart from God there is no righteousness. All righteousness is derived from Him. The Word of God reveals the God of the Word, and His Word, like His character, can and should be trusted. Other nations had, and still have, gods, temples, priests, and sacrifices, but only the one true and living God has spoken to His people and given them His Word (Deuteronomy 4:33-36). Hear and heed the righteous Lord through His righteous Word. That is the pathway of wisdom.
