Dear Brethren:
We at Rodgers Baptist Church are thankful for the work that our God is accomplishing through us, and we are hopeful for the ministries that our God has given you. We praise our Lord that He has entrusted us with His gospel for His glory (2 Tim. 1:11-14), and we write you in regard to sponsorship opportunities for next year’s trip to the Amazing Grace Children’s Home in Acolman, Mexico (25-30 Jul 26). As we prepare for that trip, our hearts are once again stirred with the opportunity to bless these precious children in the name of Christ Jesus our Lord. Each year, this trip provides a special time of encouragement, fellowship, and joy for the children and staff, and it is made possible through the faithful prayers and support of churches like yours.
For the 2026 trip we have planned several exciting activities, including:
- A Fiesta Celebration filled with gifts, games, music, and food for every child.
- A trip to a Biopark (safari) — a rare and wonderful experience for the children.
- A fair day, complete with fun activities and fellowship.
- And throughout the week, we will provide meals and special treats for the children as part of the celebration.
In addition to these events, your sponsorship helps cover these costs:
- New Bibles for the children
- Personal gifts for each child
- General gifts and supplies for the Children’s Home
- Food and resources for the children during the week’s ministry and activities
We are asking for your partnership in sponsoring a child or contributing toward the week’s expenses. Every dollar given goes directly toward sharing the love of Christ in a tangible, joyful way. “And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward,” Matthew 10:42.
