Our Help Comes from the Lord

Psalm 121:1-2, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.”

Life often reminds us of our limitations. There are burdens too heavy to carry, questions we cannot answer, and situations beyond our control. In those moments, the psalmist directs our attention away from ourselves and toward the Lord. Our help is not found in our own strength but in the God who created heaven and earth.

Jesus demonstrated the Father’s faithful care throughout His earthly ministry. Even in the darkest moments, He trusted His Father’s perfect plan. The same God who sustained Christ is the One who faithfully cares for His children today.

Act today: When a worry comes to mind, stop and pray, reminding yourself that your help comes from the Lord.
