Drip or Drop?

Proverbs 5:1-3, “My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding: That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge. For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:”

Forbidden lips drip honey, but the sweetness is thinned with poison. Counterfeit intimacy always advertises pleasure without covenant cost, yet lands bitter as gall. Solomon’s remedy is to proactively attend to biblical, not cultural, wisdom. A satisfied palate discerns fake flavors. Keep drinking deeply of marital or future-marital faithfulness and the allure fades.

Act today: Married? Compliment your spouse specifically. Single? List qualities of godly marriage you will not compromise and pray for the Spirit’s help to honor them.
