Great Is Thy Faithfulness
Lamentations 3:22-23, “It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
As we conclude this month, we are reminded that our hope does not rest in our ability to remain faithful but in God’s unwavering faithfulness toward us. Jeremiah wrote these words while Jerusalem lay in ruins. Even in the midst of heartbreak, he declared that God’s mercies were new every morning.
Our faithfulness will sometimes falter, but God’s never will. He keeps every promise, extends mercy every day, and remains constant through every season of life. Jesus Christ is the greatest proof of God’s faithfulness. Through His death and resurrection, God fulfilled His promise to save all who place their faith in Him.
As you turn the page to a new month, continue pursuing faithfulness, but never forget that it is God’s faithfulness that sustains you. His grace has carried you this far, and it will continue to lead you until the day you stand before Him.
Act today: Thank God for His faithfulness throughout this month. Ask Him to help you begin tomorrow with renewed confidence in His mercy and grace.
