Counsel and Strength

Proverbs 8:14-21, “Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I amunderstanding; I have strength. By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth. I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver. I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.”

Wisdom is the architect of stable rule. Without her, power tyrannizes. With her, leaders govern with justice, and families thrive in peace. The true King, Jesus, governs by perfect wisdom and perfect love. He reigns not by force, but by truth. Through His Spirit, believers inherit enduring riches: a clear conscience, right relationships, and eternal hope. Earthly wealth fades, but wisdom’s fruit outlasts empires. When you seek Christ diligently, you find Him. He does not hide from those who pursue His paths. Walk in justice. Speak in truth. Your legacy will be built on rock, not sand.
