Leave the Simple Path

Proverbs 9:6, “Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.”

Simplicity is not innocence; it is spiritual immaturity. The simple person delays obedience, chases quick fixes, and ignores warning. Christ does not coddle this state. He commands repentance. Leaving simple ways means abandoning lazy thinking, quitting the habit of spiritual procrastination, and walking the narrow road of insight. The Spirit empowers this departure. You do not walk into maturity by accident. You choose it daily. Insight is not natural; it is cultivated through Scripture, prayer, and obedient steps. When you say no to foolishness, you say yes to life. Christ walked this ignorance, and His resurrection gives you breath to walk in clarity. Do not drift. Depart from folly. Choose the way of understanding, and live.

Act today: Identify one habit of spiritual laziness. Write it down, repent of it, and replace it with one focused act of obedience before you sleep tonight.
