Accept One Another

Romans 15:7, “Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.”

Differences in background, preference, or maturity often breed division. Paul roots our welcome not in superficial compatibility but in the substantial connection we enjoy through Christ. His prior embrace of us has converted us from rebels to children. Such acceptance magnifies God’s glory by displaying the gospel’s reconciling power. Unity does not erase diversity but celebrates unity under one Lord and conformity to Him.

Act today: Greet someone at church with whom you have rarely spoken. Begin to get to know them and intentionally sit with them next Sunday.
