Proverbs 31:11, “The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.”

Loyalty is precious and is essential for any relationship to last. Loyalty cannot exist apart from trust, and a good marriage requires trust. Genuine and lasting trust in any relationship must be rooted in the truth of God’s Word. Today’s verse highlights the wife who has her husband’s total trust, because she uses her strengths and abilities, not to undermine her husband, but to fortify their unity. As a result, such a woman has her husband’s heart, and thereby his trust. His response to her is a reflection on her godly character as well as their healthy relationship. Ladies, there is no greater honor and privilege than to be just such a woman. Men, be sure to honor those women who are and seek to be such women.
