Bear One Another’s Burdens

Galatians 6:2, “Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.”

There are burdens which are weights too heavy to carry alone—grief, doubt, financial strain, recurring sin. Isolation magnifies the load, but shared sorrow halves it. When we shoulder another’s pack, we replicate Calvary’s love, the law Christ wrote with His blood. This humility requires nearness: listening well, entering pain, offering practical aid, worshipping together privately and publicly, and bringing struggles to the Father in prayer.

Act today: Ask a brother or sister, “What is weighing on you this week?” Listen attentively and commit to help in one specific way.
