Faithful to Forgive
Ephesians 4:32, “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”
Forgiveness is not ignoring sin or pretending it never happened. It is choosing to release bitterness because God has shown us immeasurable mercy through Christ. We forgive not because others deserve it, but because we have been forgiven.
At the cross, Jesus prayed for those who crucified Him and provided forgiveness for all who would believe. His grace enables us to extend the same mercy to others.
Act today: Ask God to help you forgive someone who has hurt you, and refuse to let bitterness take root in your heart.
