Looking for His Return

Titus 2:11-13, “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;”

The Christian life is lived with eager expectation. We are not simply waiting for heaven; we are preparing to meet our Savior. God’s grace teaches us to pursue holiness while we look forward to Christ’s return.

The promise of His coming gives us strength to remain faithful today. Every act of obedience is lived in anticipation of seeing Him face to face.

Act today: Spend a few moments thanking God for the hope of Christ’s return, and ask Him to help you live in a way that honors Him today.
