Faithful Through Trials

James 1:12, “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.”

Faithfulness is often tested in difficult seasons. Trials reveal whether our trust rests in our circumstances or in the Lord. Though we may not understand what God is doing, we can be confident that He is using every hardship to strengthen our faith.

Jesus endured suffering for our salvation, trusting His Father’s perfect plan even unto the cross. Because He remained faithful, we have hope in every trial we face.

Act today: Instead of asking, “Why is this happening?” ask, “Lord, what are You teaching me through this?”
