Moral Radar
Proverbs 2:9-11, “Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:”
Wisdom does more than inform. Wisdom alerts. When knowledge and understanding enter, discretion stands guard and delivers you from crooked paths before your feet touch them. Picture an internal radar that beeps when a joke slides toward cruelty, or a late-night click inches toward impurity. That warning tone is the Spirit applying Proverbs to real time. Ignore it and the signal dulls, heed it and sensitivity sharpens. God loves you enough to install alarms. Don’t rip out the batteries.
Act today: Recall the last time you sensed an inner warning and overrode it. Confess, then ask the Lord to recalibrate your moral radar and keep you quick to respond.
