Faithful with Your Words

Colossians 4:6, “Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.”

Our words reveal what fills our hearts. A faithful believer seeks to use speech that encourages, teaches truth, and reflects the grace of Christ. Careless words can wound deeply, but gracious words often become instruments of healing and hope.

Jesus always spoke with both truth and love. Whether correcting sinners or comforting the hurting, His words reflected the Father’s heart. As His followers, our speech should point others to Him.

Act today: Before speaking today, ask yourself, “Will these words reflect the grace of Christ?
