Finding Life. Missing the Grave.
Proverbs 8:33-36, “Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.”
Daily attendance at wisdom’s doors is not a ritual. it is survival. The blessed person waits every morning, hungry for the Master’s voice. Neglecting instruction breeds self-harm. You cannot drift through life and expect favor. The Spirit calls you to watchfulness. Christ stands at the gate, offering not just knowledge, but life eternal. Those who find Him find resurrection power. Those who reject Him choose a slow spiritual death. Do not let your Bible gather dust. Do not let your heart grow numb to the Word. Show up at the gate. Listen closely. The life you seek is waiting, and the favor of the Father is poured out on those who wait for Him.
Act today: Set a daily alarm for a specific time. Block out ten minutes to read Scripture and listen for God’s voice. Keep this appointment this week without exception.
