Faithful in God’s Word

Psalm 119:105, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

God’s Word is described as a lamp, not a spotlight. It gives enough light for the next step of obedience. Often we want God to reveal the entire journey before we move, but He calls us to trust Him one step at a time.

Jesus perfectly obeyed His Father’s Word and fulfilled every promise of Scripture. As we read and obey God’s Word daily, He shapes our thinking, strengthens our faith, and directs our path.

Act today: Spend time reading God’s Word before the distractions of the day. Ask God to show you one truth to obey.
