Wisdom’s Loud Cry

Proverbs 1:20-21, “Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying”

God does not whisper truth in secret corners but broadcasts truth in the public squares. He does this through conscience, Scripture, sermons, even headlines exposing folly. Missing wisdom isn’t a failure of volume but of attention. The world scrolls by, promising novelty; wisdom calls, promising life. To heed her, I must slow and listen where life’s traffic is thickest, decisions, commitments, spending. Wisdom is both accessible and urgent, the time to answer is now.

Act today: Set a reminder at noon to read one proverb aloud wherever you are. Let the act embarrass self-importance and tune your ears to God amid noise.
