Encourage One Another

1 Thessalonians 5:11, “Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.” 

Life east of Eden bruises hearts. Encouragement infuses courage by pointing weary saints to God’s promises. This is more than vague compliments, but is concrete reminders that our labor in the Lord is not in vain. When we build, not tear down, we cooperate with the Spirit’s edifying work, erecting a sturdy temple of living stones.
